Our 2022 Captain Chuks Aghanya's Day was held at the EAst Sussex National on 9th June.. an excellent course.

Winners of the morning event was Mark Bignall, John Capstick, Derek Ball and Peter McBride.  In an interesting twist of formats, James Stone won the longest drive with a putter - and Peter McBride won the nearest the pin blindfolded!

In the afternoon 'proper' event the NTPs were won by Dab Harrold and Matt Hooper.  Demonstrating that it doesn't matter which club he drives with, the longest drive was again won by James Stone.

In the overall places, bronze went to Nigel Flint with 33 points, Silver went to Dec McGinn with 35 points and the Gold medal went to Dan Harrold with 36 points.

The individual performance of the day went to Shaun Bookham in the morning with a score that was so unbelievable, the scorer forgot to record it - but i think it was around 44 points - no doubt shaun will correct me if it's wring..  Needless to say, he has been sent away for drug testing..
