Our second outing of the year was to Surbiton Golf Course which has with a heritage stretching back to 1895.  It was also Neil Wilson's home course, so no excuses for him then..  The club's tag line states "where the city ends and the country begins".. for some of our players on the day, it was hard to figure out where the fairways ended and the rough began, but all enjoyed a great day out..

Approaching the entrance, it was nice to see some beautiful countryside - carefully nestled in between the traveller camps and caravans nearby.

Sadly veganism had yet to reach the Club's restaurant menu options but the chips were very tasty..

The four NTPs were again won by four different players, which was good - congrats to James Clare, James Stone, Donald Allen and John Capstick

Winner of the front nine was Derek Ball with 19 points and the back nine spoils went to Shaun Bookham with 17 points.  Overall winner was also Nigel Flint with an excellent 36 points.
